Brockmann thermostatic valve actuator replacement?

See attached. Is there a replacement actuator available?
(The owner feels it is the actuator, not the valve.)
How about that escutcheon piece?

I assume that actuator can be removed with water in the system?

Was Braukmann bought by Honeywell?

Yes. That knurled ring will release the head leaving the actual valve behind. Keep in mind that it is sometimes the valve insert that fails.

Closing "travel distance" and thread matching is the tough problem between manufacturers. Braukmann and Honeywell seemed to use M30X1.5mm threads.
